Xiaomi’s biggest smartphone till date, the Mi Max, goes on sale in India today. The Mi Max price in India is set at INR 14,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant and INR 19,990 for the 4GB RAM/128GB variant. The Mi Max was launched in India on June 30 along with MIUI 8 software.
The Mi Max features a gigantic 6.44-inch 1080p IPS LCD display, a 16-megapixel primary camera with phase-detection autofocus and 4K video recording, a 5-megapixel secondary camera, and a huge 4,850 mAh battery. Under the hood, it comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650/652 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It also features a fingerprint sensor, hybrid dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n, GPS, IR port, NFC, and microUSB 2.0 port.
The Mi Max with a metal body will be available in Dark Gray, Gold, and Silver through flash sale from Amazon, Flipkart, Mi Store, Paytm, Snapdeal, and Tata CLiQ in India. Mi Fans will be eligible for unlimited movies, music, and TV show streaming for one year when they purchase the Mi Max smartphone. The device competes with various compact tablets with calling facilities in the country.
