Is anyone all that surprised that a new upcoming flagship smartphone will come in different color choices? No one really should be at this point. The Sony Honami i1 is no different. Original images showed the device in the Sony classic black look that is pretty much the standard start color. A new set of images of the Honami have surfaced showing the device in a nice crisp white color with the traditional black front. A
render of a white version made its rounds back in the middle of July. It looked good then, but a real image is so much better.
The Honami is said to be announced September 4th in Berlin at IFA at a special Sony event. We certainly hope so, there are a lot of people who are ready to pick this thing up even based off the rumors. Which include a 5-inch 1080p display, a 20 MP camera and a Snapdragon 800 processor.
We will just have to keep watching and waiting to see how the Honami really stacks up when it officially breaks cover. Let’s hope it makes a U.S. debut sooner rather than later.
