Project Fi is a pretty exciting idea for a lot of people, but up till now, it’s only been available for one smartphone – the Google Nexus 6. However, thanks to some testing by Droid-life, it appears that the new Motorola Moto X Pure Edition works with Project Fi as well. Sure, it’s a bit hard to tell exactly how much of the Project Fi functionality is actually enabled, but the fact that it has worked without a hitch has been quite interesting. This is likely thanks to the Moto X Pure Edition being as unlocked as unlocked devices can get in the US – it can connect to every major carrier in the US.
