HeLauncher2 Updates to V1.0.4 – Bringing More Love to the Home Replacement Scene

The developer of this home launcher, HandlerExploit, started creating this as personal project and for personal use. After some of his friends got a hold of it, he offered up the original version to the XDA community. It didn’t take long for it start making head way in the community. Now we have HeLauncher2.

What makes this launcher stand out a bit from the crowd is how he approached the construction of this app.  He took and ripped apart the home apps of various manufacturers and blended them together to give you multiple options and choices all with in one application.

– Based off of AOSP Launcher2 from 2.3.4
– Eleven custom themes (Gingerbread, Sense 3.0, Touchwiz 4.0, and more!)
– Transition animations for the desktop
– Blocked applications manager
– Various settings picked for Android users by Android users
– Resizable and Scrollable widget compatible

  I feel this launcher does have its place in the ranks of ADWLauncher and LauncherPRO, but the beauty of Android is the ability to use what ever you like. If you have been looking for something a little different to experiment with I would suggest you pick this up. He has some more updates on the way very soon that will be adding some new features. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us all.
