Mini Wearable MeCam HD goes up for funding on Dragon Innovation

In the digital and exciting world that we all live in, capturing those moments and sharing them with our friends, family or the world is a constant necessity. What better way to capture all those moments as they happen, and hands free, than with a wearable MeCam HD.

MeCam HD has recently announced the next line of their wearable cameras on Dragon Innovation. Which from my understanding is like Kickstarter and IndieGoGo but aimed at hardware funding.

“I decided to do an unusual sort of launch because of how great I found Dragon Innovation to be,” says Drew. “I’ve been working on bringing MeCam HD to market since I started getting feedback on the original, and Dragon Innovation is a way to do it faster while offering our customers special pre-launch pricing, and the chance to join and support MeCam as we continue our journey.”

They have 30 days to make their funding goal of $70,000 and we think they shouldn’t have much of a problem making it happen. The MeCam HD has quite a lot of things going for it.

As you can see in the image above the MeCam HD also has various ways for you to wear the camera. A clip, a neck lanyard and a safety pin holder. They will also offer some additional accessories soon, like the waterproof casing and various other mounts.

“Everyone has a story to tell,” says MeCam founder and CEO Drew Martin. “When I created the first MeCam I thought people just wanted something niche and novelty and that is what how our first MeCam was designed. I soon realized that many of our users wanted something a bit higher end that is feature rich and that was why we developed the MeCam HD. We believe with both lines we are providing the consumer with great options in which to document their life.”

It certainly does look and sound like a pretty slick little camera.  It beats pulling out your phone and holding it up all the time during those special events or trips.

Life certainly does happen and capturing those moments is increasingly important to many. Get the full rundown about MeCam HD and how you can help back it at their Dragon Innovation page.
