Action Launcher Hits the Play Store Bringing a Somewhat Unique Style Launcher

In the world of the Android device, customization is key. A big part of that key is replacing that boring old stock launcher and getting a home replacement that completely transforms your phone or tablet. It is hard to be different when it comes to launchers, but developers out there take on the challenge, and some come out and impress the community.

Action Launcher is created by well-known developer Chris Lacy. He was also part of Tweet Lanes if you guys checked that third-party Twitter app. This launcher is in an early beta stage, but there is some potential in this home replacement. But of course, there is going to be bugs. I gave it a quick run through and noticed it doesn’t have much in the settings menu. Was not expecting there to be in this early stage, but I do like the unique app drawer. You hit the app drawer button and it pops in from the left in an accordion like style, and it gives you all your apps in alphabetical order, with the option to jump to a letter. Kind of references the windows 8 launcher a little bit if you ask me. Now there is not a free version, sadly, unless I am just not seeing it. It shows PRO so you would assume there was a free version. I would say first watch the video below, then give it a quick run yourself. Let us know if you guys like it.
