Adobe Air App Hits Android Market

If you were apart of the dedicated Android community that was able to attend the Android BBQ last weekend in Austin, TX then you already knew this day was coming as an Adobe rep announced that AIR would launch on October 8th thanks to an on the spot question by TheDroidGuy’s own Russel Holly.

No need to check the calendars as that day is today and just like the rep said, Adobe AIR launched in the Android Market at midnight which if you haven’t downloaded it yet, we recommend you do so by the usual method found below. AIR will allow Adobe Flash applications to run outside of the browser as if they are installed on your device, another plus is that with AIR, multiple platform apps are more realistic as AIR allows only minor changes to be made in order for the app to run on the Android platform.

Simply scan or click the QR code with your Android device for a direct trip to the Android Market to get this application.
