Android 4.4 KitKat Images Surface Showing Some Features and KLP Easter Egg

Android 4.4 images have surfaced again today, giving us a quick look at what we might see when it is finally unveiled to us. One thing you might notice right off the bat is the Key Lime Pie Easter Egg image. The build that is shown off here, is an early build of what was once called KLP. We know that it was going to be called that at one point, but there new deal with Kit Kat changed all that, but did not change the code in this early build.

The images provided on this post came from Gadget Hotline. The device these screenshots are displayed on is uncertain. The codename for the device is “Hammerhead”, which is the codename for the next Nexus. Only thing is, the model number shows it as a Nexus 4, so who knows what device this is on. We just know it is some sort of Nexus.

Right off the bat, the boys at Gadget Hotline noticed a new printing option on one of the menus. This will be a nice added feature to be able to print documents from your phone, and will most likely utilize the Google Cloud Print service. There has also been some added features to the settings menu, such as mobile payment management. This indicates that Google Wallet will be integrated into this build, but I guess current custom ROMs have already integrated this mobile payment management system.

Previous images that surfaced that claimed to be Android 4.4, showed us a white dialer with a little bit of blue thrown in. In these images, we have a black dialer with maybe a slightly brighter Holo blue. Another color scheme that we are seeing again, is the status bar displaying white icons for the battery, WiFi, and mobile signal. In the other Android 4.4 images, we see these white icons, as well as the status bar itself changing color to match whatever app you are currently in.

These images seem a little more legit than the previous images we have seen, and hopefully in the next couple weeks we will actually get a good look at Android 4.4. Check out all the images, and let us know your thoughts about them.
