Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA rolling out for AT&T Galaxy Note 4

The push to update devices across carriers to Android 5.0 Lollipop continues weekly for many devices. The AT&T branded Galaxy Note 4 owners can now join the ranks of Lollipop badge holders as the OTA update is officially rolling out to devices today. The update carries build number LRX22C.N910AUCU1COC2 and moves the device from Android 4.4.4 to Android 5.0.1 officially and weighs in at a hefty 1.2GB’s. AT&T states the update can only be downloaded via Wi-Fi with no mention of Samsung Kies support.

The changelog on AT&T’s support page for the update is pretty empty. They only mention that it updates the device to Android 5.0, adds ‘Find my Phone’, ‘Reactivation lock’ and offers stability improvements. While the update certainly isn’t as awesome as Android 5.1 would be, it is a step in the right direction.

If you happen to have a Note 4 on AT&T then be sure to head to Settings > About device > Software Update > Check for updates. If it makes its appearance then be sure you have some time to kill for that large file, well over 50% battery life and a solid Wi-Fi connection too.
