Keeping inline with my last post about themeing your 91Panda Home application, I also just came across this interesting tool. Located inside the code.google.com you can find all sorts of wonderful and amazing things. This is just one of them.
Its called the Android Asset Studio. It can be located HERE. It is a quick and simple Icon generating tool that uses source image files, clip art or text. With it you can custom make Launcher icons, Menu icons, Tab icons and Notification icons.
Once you choose what you are looking to make, just follow all the on screen directions. It really is that simple. Once you are finished you can export the file for your own personal use.
I haven’t had much time to sit down and use this to much yet, but it worked well for me on just a few simple little test files. Feel free to give it a good once over and let us know if it works well for you.
