Angry Birds 2 has reached 10 million downloads in less than a week

It’s not exactly surprising, but Angry Birds 2 has reached 10 million downloads in less than a week after its July 29th launch. It’s likely been helped along by the fact that this version of the game is free-to-play (with in-app purchases of course), but to have reached that mark in such a short time is still nothing short of impressive. Rovio shared the fact with the world on its Twitter account earlier today:

In case you’re a bit behind the times, Rovio has just launched their official sequel to the original Angry Birds. Not much has change besides slight tweaks to the art style and the payment model, but for fans of the series, that’s enough to warrant a download. Now the real question is who’s still going to be playing in a month or two.

What do you think about Angry Birds 2 reaching 10 million downloads so quickly? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
