So those Angry Birds have finally found their way to Facebook. Angry Birds Friends is out on Android today for free on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore, and is the first iteration of the furious avian game to fully integrate Facebook social game features. Game play-wise, it looks like more of the same, however Rovio boasts that there will be new tournaments and new levels every week. So how’s that for those who can’t get enough Angry Birds?

Are you convinced yet? As the game features suggests, the game will also be able to be played through Facebook, but as Angry Birds has made its bread and butter through the mobile media, I suspect many more social gamers will be playing through their mobile devices.
I was convinced there weren’t many more Angry Birds games in the tank for Rovio, but the tournament and scoring features may just be the right thing to breathe a bit more life into the franchise. After all, who doesn’t love beating their friends at games and being able to gloat about it on Facebook?
