[APP] NoMoarPowah! Brings a New Battery Charging Screen for Samsung Device

As nice as it is to see that little green battery charging on your screen when your phone is off and charging, it is pretty boring. We have boot animations, lock screen replacements and home replacements, but I haven’t seen any charging replacements till now.

XDA member,Â Chainfire, has taken the next step in ultimate customization and functionality. He introducedÂ NoMoarPowah! to the community yesterday. This is strictly for root users, as with most great mods. He has taken and replaced that boring battery charging screen with something useful and interactive. The pplication will turn your phone back on for you automatically when your device is fully charged or when your battery level reaches 15%. If that function isn’t cool enough for you, then how about this one. You can set the device to turn on at a designated time so you are sure to not be bothered while you are sleeping. The app will even recommend certain times for you based on your alarms.

Tested on the following devices:
– Samsung Galaxy S (I9000) and family
– Samsung Galaxy S2 (I9100) and family
– Samsung Galaxy Tab 7″ (P1000) and family
– Samsung Droid Charge

As with all great devs, he offers a fully functional FREE version with ads and a PRO version with out ads. Both apps function the same so you don’t have to worry about losing functionality with the free version. We do recommend picking up the paid app since it supports the devs work and is only a $1.38.
