Looks like the boys over at CyanogenMod want to add a nice little feature to their camera, and I am all for this feature. Hands free photos will now be added to future CM builds, that allows you to snap a photo from a distance using a trigger word. As you can see from the image above, you can use any trigger word you please, such as “cheese’ which of course is fitting. Personally I would use the word “whiskey” from the choices that are given in the image.
I love the fact that they are adding this feature to their camera, because maybe this will get rid of all those people who take the same kind of pictures in their mirror holding up their device. Maybe now we will see more pictures from distance, and the person will not be holding their device. Of course, those types of people are not exactly ROM flashers, so I guess all hope is lost.
