Dark Meadow: The Pact, headed to Android later this month. Looks Incredible

Phosphor Games released Dark Meadow: The Pact on the iOS platform only 4 days ago. Since then it has jumped to the top of the download lists by leaps and bounds. Clearing 260,000 downloads and ranking #3 on iPad and #7 on iPhone. The game is a free-to-play based game that tosses you in the shadowy depths of a hospital. Being guided by an old man who seems to be the only person, or thing not out to kill you. Armed with only a crossbow for long-range attacks and a sword for up close and personal defense, you explore your surroundings trying to stay alive.

Phosphor Games has a sure-fire hit on their hands already. To help things along, we just learned that there will be an Android version releasing later this month. Bringing all the dark, creepy and heart pounding action to our desired platform. The Tegra Zone app has it listed as “Tegra Family,” but the press release we received makes mention of Tegra 3 devices. It is most likely going to launch for Tegra 3 chipped devices first, with others to follow suite shortly. We sure hope it doesn’t get limited to the quad-core toting devices solely.
