Dell Mini 5 Tablet gets taken apart, unveils a Snapdragon

Dell Mini 5 in white tear down
A user over at the Tinhte forums managed to get a hold of a Dell Mini 5 Tablet and had the crazy idea to take it apart to see what the internals revealed. Turns out it packs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm along with Wi-Fi, a 3G SIM card slot, and 1,530mAh battery. It’s got two microSD card slots—one for people to use, the second an inaccessible one presumably for storing Android or somesuch on. That stuff comes on top of the info we already received from Dell at CES, namely Bluetooth, a multi touch 5-inch screen, 5.0-megapixel camera and… a  plasticky finish.

What actually surprised me is that there is no mention of an HDMI port, after all, the Snapdragon is perfectly capable of handling HD content…

Anyway, for those hardware freaks among you, below is the video:

p.s. I am a little grossed out from the ‘nail’,  aren’t you ? lol
