Looking to get the MIUI Music Player without having to go through the trials and tribulations of rooting your device and/or flashing a new ROM? Look no further. This file has been pulled directly from MIUI, by dw9906 from the XDA Forums. The installation process for this one couldn’t be any easier, either. All you have to do is download the .APK file and install it like you would any other application.
The player will give you access to both the music you have stored on your device or SD card, as well as an online database of music that you can stream. Unfortunately, as you can see from the pics above, the majority of the online music is displayed in Chinese, so I won’t personally use the feature. However, my lack of ability to speak Chinese shouldn’t deter you from giving this one a spin. I’d also like to note that you’ll need to have music on your device for this to work. It will not connect to your Google Music account, or play songs from it that you have made available offline — if there’s a way to do this, I couldn’t find it, so please share if you come across it.
