Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 get the spec leak treatment ahead of Oct 27th reveal

Verizon is gearing up to launch its latest smartphones, the Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2, but we’ve been fielding a decent number of leaks for both devices in the lead up to the October 27th unveiling. The latest leak is the most revealing, giving us basically a full list of specs for both devices and a few interesting tidbits about how Verizon’s line-up is going to look once the devices are out. Potentially the most interesting part of this report is that Verizon is still going to continue making the original Droid Turbo available, meaning you could snap up a still-relevant flagship at a good price (hopefully).

There aren’t many surprises about the specs for the Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 – check out the brochures above for more details. The Droid Turbo 2 will be available in 32GB and 64GB versions, with the 64GB version only available through the Moto Maker site with a design refresh within two years as leaked in a previous report. The Droid Maxx 2 will also get one free screen repair in the first two years, which is always nice to have. Of course, we’ll likely have to wait till October 27th before we get pricing and availability details, but keep your eyes and ears open.
