EA releases Mass Effect Infiltrator to Android

Looks like it is time to kick some Mass. Nice pun huh? EA provided it, I am not that clever. For those die hard gamers out there that like to have some first person action in your pocket at all times, this one is gonna be for you. Electronic Arts has finally release Mass Effect Infiltrator to the Google Play Store, and boy does it look good. The plot is pretty basic, you are a Cerberus Agent that has gone Rogue. All because the director of the test facility takes his work a little too far.

I love FPS games a lot, but have been out of the loop so long that it is pretty pathetic. To make your life and my life a little easier, check out the press release and some media material below for a better look.

Android Users Can Now Kick More Mass With Mass Effect Infiltrator

Critically-Acclaimed Third Person iOS Shooter Now Available on Android Devices

Kick More Mass!  Mass Effect Infiltrator, the fully featured interpretation of BioWare’s premier science fiction universe, is available on Google Play today.  In Mass Effect Infiltrator, players take on the role of Randall Ezno, a Cerberus agent who becomes disillusioned with the organization he works for, eventually turning into one of their fiercest enemies as he uncovers the depths that Cerberus will plumb to achieve their despicable goals. Along the way the player gathers important Intel that will be shared with the Alliance to help sway the final confrontation in Mass Effect 3 through the Galaxy at War system.

Packed with rich graphics and fast-paced action, Mass Effect Infiltrator for Android features stunning graphics, intuitive swipe-and-tap combat controls, high-tech armor and weapons, and Galaxy at War connectivity that enables players to boost their Galactic Readiness Rating in Mass Effect 3.

Looks pretty sweet doesn’t it? The app download is 8.3MB’s, but the real fun begins when you open it for the first time. You will need to download all the asset packages from EA, they are a whopping 450+ MBs. A Wi-Fi connection is highly recommended. It is pretty cool though that the mobile game can help you with your Mass Effect 3 game though. EA fails to mention device requirements in the Play Store, so we had to do a little digging on their website. Wouldn’t ya know it, nothing. We fully expect dual-core to be a minim requirement, something with plenty of power under the hood. It isn’t compatible with anything I have so I wasn’t able to give it a test run for you guys.
