EA releases Real Racing 3; North America version seems to be all sorts of messed Up

Real Racing 3
When the rumors and screenshots of the EA’s 3rd installment of Real Racing started making the rounds, we got a little excited. It looked like it would be amazing. Especially with the renowned Firemonkeys development team in the mix. Then all the news started hitting about in app purchases. We let you guys know some of the inner workings on the 13th. That pretty much shut down a large portion of the potential gamers out there looking to pick this one up. Even though we have heard that they have tweaked the timer situation a little bit, it is still most likely a real pain in the butt for those of us that want to sit down and play a game for a few hours straight. It was scheduled for release on the 28th. It is the 28th in some countries, so Real Racing 3 is now available for download.

At least, it is in the Play Store. The game states that it requires Android version 2.3.3 and up. The initial download is just 6.1MB’s but will suck down another 1.7 GB f data files afterwards. No doubt this is for all the amazing graphics and licensed cars and tracks you will get access too. There seems to be a catch though, apparently my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S III isn’t cool enough to run the app. Nor is any other device I have ever signed in with that is still on the account. Seems to be a flub in the release somewhere. Not a very good start for EA on this one.

North America Play Store Real Racing 3
Users of the international version of the app seem to be picking it up just fine with their S III devices. Along with Nexus 7 and Nexus 4. So hopefully some one just pushed the same APK out to the Play Store by accident. They better get that fixed asap, or have a darn good explanation.

If you are interested in picking this up and taking a look, or seeing if you even can, both links to each version can be found below. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
