The Moverio BT-100 is quite possibly the coolest Android gadget we have ever seen. The unit consists of the glasses that have ear buds attached to provide you Dolby Digital audio. Attached to the glasses is a pocket-sized control unit. The control unit has a touch sensitive trackpad for navigating around the OS through the glasses. You also have a home, menu and back button just below that. There is also a five way directional pad along with brightness control and a button to toggle between 2D and 3D mode. Yes, you can toggle if you want to be playing Angry Birds or watching a movie in 3D or not.

Where I think EPSON has gone above and beyond the glasses themselves is the support and tools they are making available for developers. Giving our talent devs everything they need to create some crazy new applications will be a serious perk.
While they might not be a Tegra 3 toting mega powerhouse on Ice Cream Sandwich, I would still love to have a set. Imagine laying in bed and watching a movie and not upsetting the wife. Just the brief outline of what they do and the excitement I heard from Tony when he saw them in person, I figured they would be way out of my price range.
