FCC visit points Sony Xperia T towards T-Mobile

Where the heck did T-Mobile just come from? Seriously. T-Mobile has never been one to really and truly compete with devices. They have been more about services and plans for ages. It seems like T-Mobile is finally stepping up their device offerings game. This can only be great news for consumers, especially since they just brought that amazing unlimited data plan back to life. We have heard and seen enough rumors to believe the HTC One X+ is coming, they are easily getting the Galaxy Note II, they already have the Galaxy S III, and now we catch potential wind that T-Mobile might be pulling the Sony Xperia T to their lineup.

A recent swing through the FCC points information that the Xperia T has support for pentaband HSPA+ networks and lacks 4G LTE connectivity. Since LTE is AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, that really only leaves T-mobile. Helps that is what their 42mpbs network is labeled. It could still find its way to AT&T we suppose, but it wouldn’t do much good with out LTE connections.

The Xperia T is no slouch of a device. Packing a 4.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720, a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Ice Cream Sandwich, 13MP camera with LED flash and battery rated at 7 hour of talk with 450 hours of standby. Sony does make a great product, but has lacked devices on multiple carriers here in the U.S. They still produce one of the best cameras we have ever used and their screens are always brilliant. It would be a great device for T-Mobile to have sitting on display. Now if Motorola would bring over some good Android love to the magenta carrier all would be right in the world.
