FriendCaller brings Android another free video chat and VoIP Solution

As users of smartphones we want them to be able to do as much as possible. If our carrier doesn’t support a feature that we want, then we turn to the market for help. One feature that is relatively scarce from carriers is the VoIP services. Having the ability to make and receive phone calls over a WiFi connection might not be huge to many people, but for those who have ZERO service at their office or home, it can be a life saver. There are a number of applications out that can achieve this for you, Google Voice, Viber, and Skype to name a few. You may already have your favorite app installed and running, but if you are looking for another solution, FriendCaller could be your ticket.

It offers all the built-in features one could want. Make and receive phone calls via Wi-Fi. Use the service for free video calls, group calling, messaging and even group video calls. The group video calling function will let you have 4 callers connected at a time with video with 6 more connected via audio only. One of the more unique aspects of this application is that it has been built for anything. I mean there is iOS support, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux availability. There is also a cool little ‘Callme-Link’ that you can drag and drop into Twitter, Facebook, Google + or anywhere else you can drop a link. Best part is the caller doesn’t need a FriendCaller account to click the link to call you. Check out the 1 minute video about and then head to the bottom for the QR code.

It seems like it has everything plus more. I am no expert when it comes to VoIP calling, but feel free to give it a try. It couldn’t hurt since it is free.
