Galaxy S IV Looking to have ‘Floating Gestures’

air-touch

Soon we will not have to even touch our touchscreens. Back in December, we found out that Samsung got a patent for “Samsung Air Gestures”. Obviously this was going to take the already gestures that the Galaxy S III has, and amp them up a little bit. Galaxy S IV is right around the corner and looks like it will be having this new air gesture technology within its organs.

DDaily has reported that they heard that the Galaxy S IV will have this new Atmel-made touch controller chip. Similar  technology has already been shown off in Sony’s “floating touch”, but of course, no one is going to pay attention to what Sony is doing. When Samsung does it, the whole world pays attention. No one knows exactly what kind of gestures you will be able to do, but we shall find out when Samsung shows it off at their unpacked event if these rumors are true. Let us know what you guys think.
