Galaxy Tab Honeycomb SDK Port – Fully Working? Very Soon.

And now for the XDA genius report of the day (haha)!! We’ve seen Honeycomb SDK ports visit many devices since it’s initial release. All these ports have one thing in common, their basically novelty items with most functions not working properly. XDA member spacemoose1 looks to change that, at least for the Galaxy Tab owners out there. The diligent work done on this port has been tedious, hacking and slashing bits and pieces from other devices to get drivers and functions to display and work properly on the Galaxy tab. Despite the bumps along the way, the most recent update to along the Galaxy tab road to Honeycomb brings good news.

I’m on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen:

Winning.

But seriously, I’m so close that I can taste it. I have a lot to do over the next couple of days, but I plan to spend the weekend plowing through this. So, video drivers down, next up: fix memory issues (crashes), touch screen and wifi.

It looks like Galaxy tab owners are about to get more than a taste of Honeycomb, more along the lines of the whole hive. If you’d like to stay up-to-date on the development of this port check out the XDA thread.
