Gameloft and Sony Pictures join forces to bring Men in Black 3 to Android May 25th

Assuming most of you have already seen the first two ‘Men in Black‘ installments, you’re probably just as anxious for one of the year’s most talked about films — Men in Black 3 — to hit the big screen. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back again in round three of the series and Agent J must travel back in time to MIB’s early years in the 1960s, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history.

Gameloft and Sony Pictures have teamed up to unleash the video game counterpart of the movie on our favorite operating system. According to a post from our good buddies over at DroidGamer, the game will be available on Google Play the same day as the movie hits theaters, May 25th. Additionally, we’re hearing talk that MIB:III will be a “freemium” title, meaning you’ll be able to unlock extra content via in-game purchases.

There aren’t a lot of details surrounding the game at the moment, but we have to assume the game will be action-packed and full of big slimy aliens, just waiting to get blasted. We’ll keep our eye on this one for information as it starts to leak out.
