Gameloft releases Real Soccer 2013 to the Play Store for Free

In the middle of September Gameloft released some behind the scenes images and video of their upcoming title Real Soccer 2013. Well, Real Football 2013 to the rest of the world. The graphics and enhanced gameplay from the previous 2012 version looked like it would be the best one yet. The game offers us a chance to manage a soccer team and the surrounding city to gain profits and popularity. You have to put your team through training to increase their skill levels in all areas to make them better athletes. To make things a little more in-depth, you also have to manage and hire your own team doctors and PR Managers.

It isn’t without its drawbacks though. While nearly ever aspect of the game has been revamped and enhanced, it is still a free to play title. Meaning that you can’t just sit down and play continuously for 3 days straight. You have to build and mature your team over time. Playing a few games and then some training and then put it down till tomorrow. Making this a long-term game. It is designed to keep you coming back time and time again, day after day, to check in with your team and play a match. Its target audience are Soccer fans and simulation fans. If you are like me, the kinda guy that would sit down, mange everything and play through an entire season in an evening, that just isn’t going to happen.

In the hands of the right people this game will go far. We see it more of a niche style game that certainly won’t appeal to the masses though. If you like soccer and simulation games it is worth giving a try. You can pick it up by simply clicking or scanning the QR code below.
