Sound familiar? According to the folks at Google the Google Chrome Broswer is experiencing phenomenal growth. Google is used to doing things on a grand scale, Android for instance, has seen a 300% increase in usership in the last year. If these preliminary figures are an indication of a trend, Chrome OS is well on it’s way to Google success.
Sundar Pichai, VP Product Management at Google opened up the presumed Google Chrome OS Netbook event with some raw numbers. In true Android fashion Google’s Chrome OS browser has increased in use 300% since January of this year.
Google also announced Crankshaft a java script optimizer which makes rendering java script much faster.
