With recent updates to Google Glass and possible UI changes to Google Maps, Google Earth has some new updates of their own.
One of the most notable changes is the integration of Street View. Street View has been a part of Google Maps for a while now, but it will give Google Earth additional exploration at street level. The update also brings a series of improvements to search and directions. Users can visualize various directions in 3D while the updated list of searches will let you browse the results quickly. The interface tweaks include panels on the bottom and left sides of the screen, used primarily for browsing and enabling different layers.
