HTC Desire Z Gingerbread Leaked

What seems to be a common thing over the recent weeks has finally brought attention to another HTC device. Desire Z owners now have a Gingerbread test release that managed to slip through the cracks. Of course like most other ones it’s made it’s presence known via XDA.

It does come with the new version of Sense UI like other Gingerbread leaks have brought to the table. A new radio has also been added which seems to have controversial reviews, better service but bad battery life The kernel has seen a massive update as well, although the actual extent of this update is still being explored.

Overall it seems to be running safely on both G2 and Desire Z devices and does come rooted although the super-user application is not installed. If you’d like to give it a spin, take a stroll by the XDA thread and see what’s going on.
