HTC EVO gets OTA update.

Along with the recently-released HTC EVO 4G came a quick OTA update on June 4th. This fixes a few problems that came with the shipping ROM. One of the biggest fixes was with the MicroSD card. People were reporting file permission errors that were not allowing users to write to the MicroSD card. That should be fixed with the update.

Also with the update comes some security improvements. One of the tweaks is the ability to gain root method (of course the guys behind root will be able to gain root again). One thing to notice is how fast they did fix issues that were reported on the phone before it was released. Those that had an HTC Hero waited weeks to get an update to fix text messaging issues.

So how is your HTC EVO treating you? Leave your comments.
