Ice Cream Sandwich update rolling out for Wi-Fi Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

hose of you that are holding onto a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi model should be pleasantly surprised at some point today. News has started hitting various forums that and OTA is starting to pop up on the device that offers up some Ice Cream Sandwich goodness to your Tab. The update is moving your device to Android 4.0.4 with a software version of IMM76D. Be sure your tablet has a near full charge before starting to download and install the update of course. For those of you that have absolutely no patience in waiting for OTA to pop up on your screen, it is also available via Samsung Kies for manual installation.

No matter which way you chose to go, an update should help make your Monday a little brighter. Don’t forget, if you are rooted you might want to hold off on the official update for a bit. OTA and Kies Updates tend to unroot your device. it shouldn’t take long for the developer community to check it all out and let everyone know that root is back.
