IndieGoGo finally brings dedicated app to Android

IndieGoGo is a site that is dedicated to crowdfunding for entrepreneurs and established companies alike. It is more than that though, as the funding campaigns go beyond just helping some cool new gadget get off the ground. There are plenty of campaigns on the site to help save or rescue animals, feed the hungry, support the arts and more. One thing about IndieGoGo drove me nuts, the lack of an Android app. iOS user had one, but Android didn’t. Finally that wait is over though as IndieGoGo has announced today that they have released the Android app to all.

There isn’t anything particular special about the app. It gives you easier mobile access to browse , fund  and follow campaigns. You can view all the perks, watch the videos, read the updates, check the comments and see contributions from others. Much like you do on the web version However, it is certainly easier and much nicer looking than always having to go to the website. The app is free and is available now for all your funding desires. Even if you aren’t a funder IndieGoGo is a great place to kill a few hours seeing what great and new potential innovation is on the horizon.
