[LEAK] Android 4.3 For Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Available Now On Pre-Release Test Build

android 4.3 for samsung galaxy note 2It feels like Android 4.3 has taken forever to be released on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2; ever since it was announced that the Note 2 would be skipping Android 4.2 in preference of Android 4.3, we all jumped for joy and waited for that time to come. And waited. The closest indication we’ve gotten in the last few months that Android 4.3 is still coming for the Note 2 is the announcement that it and the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3 would gain Galaxy Gear compatibility in the Android 4.3 update. Thanks to SamMobile and a sneaky insider, though, we’re getting an early glimpse of Android 4.3 for Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

Yes, a pre-release test build has been released to the masses which incorporates a lot of the changes that will be in the Android 4.3 update to the Note 2, which include plenty of updates and features that are from the Galaxy S4 and its new brother, the Galaxy Note 3. It appears that the update is still being heavily worked on, so it’s likely that the test build seen here won’t be the exact version that we get whenever Android 4.3 finally drops on the Note 2, but it should be a pretty good indication of what to expect in general.

As per the source article, the test build is designed for the GT-N7100 model, so if you’re interested to check out how this test build runs on your Note 2, go to the source link here or just click the download link below. Be warned though that the zip file is a hefty 1.2GB so be prepared for the download time.

It’s exciting to know that the official Android 4.3 update is finally just around the corner for Note 2 owners, and hopefully this means Android 4.3 is just as imminent for the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3 as well. If you try the test build, let us know how you find it.
