Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro smartphone with Tango features and 6.4-inch QHD display announced for $499

Lenovo just announced PHAB 2 Pro, the world’s first Tango smartphone for consumers at the Tech World 2016 in San Francisco. This Smartphone was leaked a few days back and Lenovo had confirmed the existence of this smartphone at CES. This dual-SIM (Hybrid) Phablet sports a 6.4-inch screen with 1080p resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor and Aderno 510 GPU.

The Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro has a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. There is 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, and up to 128GB microSD card support. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with VibeUI. Other features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

The device also has a fingerprint scanner at the back. It has four cameras that includes a 16-megapixel RGB camera, a depth camera, a motion tracking camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for Tango’s 3D mapping technology to understand the world around you. It has a 4,050 mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro comes in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey colors with full metal body design, is priced at $499, and will be available globally starting September 2016.
