Microsoft announces ‘version 2’ of OneNote for Android

Microsoft OneNote

Microsoft announced a new and improved OneNote app today. OneNote combines note-taking, embedded media, tables and drawing capabilities as a part Microsoft’s Office suite.

Based on user feedback and input, notes are now rendered to look the same across all devices. Additional formatting options were also added for personalized notes.

New features include in-app search functions, audio notes and home screen widgets, along with updates to the recent notes feature.

OneNote will also support Office 365 notebooks, while also continuing access to SkyDrive and SkyDrive Pro. This allows you to “keep track of your personal and work notes in one convenient place.”

The update is live now for users or if you don’t have it yet, you can download the latest app for free on Google Play, or read more about it on Microsoft’s website.
