One of our cross app/ROM themers, Annex, has taken it upon himself to put together his version of ICS for MIUI. It includes the lockscreen by picard666, Google boot animation and ICS wallpaper. He themed out the Framework-res, Dialer, SMS, System-ui, Overscroll, Popup windows and the Launcher. That’s a lot of themeing. Check out some screenshots below.
It is a pretty slick-looking theme. I know many of you will argue that the icons are wrong and where is the launcher button. You have to remember this is just a rendition of ICS. Obviously nothing is perfect, nor did he state anything about adding in any icons to the theme. Those will probably come at a later date. Not that we wouldn’t change them anyways. We don’t know exactly how it will look or play out when it come time for MIUI to make the move to the new OS either. Things could migrate in and look very similar or they could change the whole look and feel drastically. Only time will tell, but I am rather excited to see what they do with it.
As usual, you need to download the associated mtz file, move it to the MIUI/Themes folder on your SD card before you can use it. Feel free to pick and choose the elements of the theme you actual like best by selecting the ‘custimize’ button at the bottom of the Theme app.
