New RTS RPG, Hero Sky: Epic Guild Wars, headed to iOS and Android in March

A new real-time strategy role-playing game is on its way to iOS and Android next month. The title comes from indie developer Innospark. The indie team was part of the crew that brought South Korea Rule the Sky, which is apparently a hugely successful title. The team has been hard at work to carve out a name for themselves with a new title, Hero Sky: Epic Guild Wars, with an expected launch in March.

Hero Sky, players can summon more than 100 legendary Heroes to add to their collection and fight for their cause, along with unique tactics and units like the Trojan Horse, which lets players ferry a battalion of troops directly behind enemy lines. The game also will offer in-depth cooperative social features with its in-game Guild system, which lets players donate troops, and even pool combat powers together. Players can play online in a variety of modes, such as the instant-action mode Quick Battle, as well as the more-challenging Fever Mode, which players can unlock after going on a winning streak of battles. In addition, the game will offer upgrade-able buildings and in-depth customization options to let players build the flying fortress of their dreams.

The game-play trailer certainly looks like it could prove to be a pretty intense title. I will naturally assume the title will be free with various in-app purchases attached. That is the current model for titles such as this and the same one that Rule the Sky took. I’ll keep my eye out for the launch and let you guys know when it becomes available. Until then, what do you guys think about what see so far.
