Pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Tab or the Huawei Ideos S7 Tablet at Best Buy

Best Buy has made pre-ordering available for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab for Verizon and Sprint and has also made pre-ordering available for the Wi-Fi only Huawei Ideos S7 tablet.

“Tablets are an exciting new technology and, as the leading consumer electronics retailer in the world, our customers expect Best Buy to carry multiple options,” said Scott Anderson, head of merchandising for Best Buy Mobile. “Mobile technology, whether it’s smart phones or tablets, is moving so fast that customers need a place to go to look across all formats to see what is the right product for them. Our highly-trained Best Buy Mobile employees are ready to help them make sense of it all.”

According to the press release, both Samsung Galaxy Tabs are priced at $599 if you feel dropping over half a grand today or you can pre-order the Huawei Ideos S7 tablet which is coming Wi-Fi only for $299 which is also due to drop in November.

Best Buy Mobile Launches Presale of 3 New Tablets

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 25, 2010 – Best Buy Mobile, the mobile specialty retail unit of Best Buy Co. Inc (NYSE: BBY), today announced the presale of new 7-inch tablets from Samsung and Huawei. These new tablets, combined with the vast assortment of smart phones, e-readers and iPads, gives Best Buy one of the broadest selections of mobile devices under one roof.

The tablets, which go on presale today, include:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab (Sprint)
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab (Verizon)
  • Huawei S7 WiFi

The Samsung Galaxy Tabs are $599, have multiple plan options for consumers and arrive in stores in November. The Huawei S7 is $299 and also lands in November.
