RIFT mobile lands in the Android market, keep up with your game on the Go

I love a good game just as much as the next guy, but I have never been able to get “sucked” into a game for any extended period of time. I do, however, have many friends that can spend an entire weekend glued to a PC screen. What do you do when you have to go to your real job to pay for addiction though? Thanks to Trion Worlds Inc. and the recent release of RIFT Mobile, you can still feed your need to know whats happening.

The application is currently in a Beta status but comments seem to be fairly positive. You can coordinate with allies and guildmates, keep up with zone events and even earn some in-game loot right from your Android tablet or phone. The app is completely free for anyone to pick up, but won’t do you any good if you don’t have a RIFT account and play the game. Take a gander at all the features this app is bringing to you –

• Zone Event notification – hear the call when Zone Events erupt on your shard, and pick your battles with flexible alert settings.
• Earn in-game loot! – win real loot through the mobile appwith Lootables. Artifacts, crafting items, and planar treasure shoot straight to your character’s mailbox!
