Rumor: Ice Cream Sandwich and the Nexus Prime Announcement moved over Seas

International events are always a hoot. Us lowly Americans get to see some of the greatest phones, gadgets and gizmos ever dreamed up and know in our hearts we will never see it. It is a fact. We are usually last to see and get everything.

It should then come as no surprise that the Nexus Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich might have moved to an international location, Hong Kong to be more precise. According to an inside source who spoke with Engadget anyways. The All Things Digital event will be starting over there on October 19th at 5pm, their time of course. We know that Andy Rubin will be in attendance and has an interview scheduled. Samsung will be there as well. Making it a fairly opportune time to reveal the device and OS that got put on a brief hold.

If the rumor does come true, that is going to leave a lot of US bases media out of the loop. I am certain there will be some sort of streaming video of the event as it unfolds and if the Nexus Prime (Galaxy Nexus) and ICS do get announced you can expect a flurry of news from all of your favorite sources, including us.

Stay tuned as we do our best to keep in the loop of what is going on.
