[Rumor] Motorola Photon 4G Successor Coming Soon?

The Motorola Photon 4G could be considered one of the biggest game changers for Sprint in 2011, next to the release of the iPhone. It was one of Motorola’s first dual core handsets on Sprint, and by the looks of things, its successor could be coming soon. According to a report by PocketNow, sources claim that Motorola and Sprint are working on a Motorola Photon 4G successor dubbed “Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE.” This could be in the competition with Sprint’s Galaxy S II device, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch, for the longest name for a smartphone ever.

The Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE is supposed to be Sprint‘s first Motorola 4G LTE handset on its new LTE network. However, there are no rumored specs available for us to report on, so we can’t give you any details regarding pricing and other information. But, considering how the original Photon 4G was considered a high-end device for its time, we can definitely expect the new handset to be a monster.
