Rumor: Production begins for the Samsung Galaxy S III

Samsung Galaxy S III

Oh, how we love the infamous rumor mill here at AndroidStory. Everybody loves a good rousing every now and again, don’t they? Well, here we are again in the wee hours of the morning and we’ve got another fatty of a tale that just landed on our doorstep. Before you continue reading, you’ve been warned — this is a rumor; please treat it as such.

Word on the Internet is, the Samsung Galaxy S III has entered production. OK. The word actually comes to us from notorious Russian blogger and hit-or-miss phone tipster, Eldar Murtazin. According to Mr. Murtazin, the SGSIII is in the midst of mass production, as we speak. Of course, Eldar has been known to leak information that is, well — flat-out wrong. There are, however, times when he’s been right on the money, so take this how you’d like.

While absolutely nothing is set in stone about the device just yet, there is a lot of talk floating around about the Galaxy S III toting a spacious 4.8-inch screen and a quad-core processor fast enough to make even the most tech savvy of phone connoisseur drool like a fat kid with a cake on his plate. We’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for any more info and/or a release date. As for now, file this neatly away in that rumor drawer and get back to enjoying your evening.
