Samsung Epic 4G – OTA Froyo Rolls Out Today

Today Samsung announced via Twitter that the long awaited Froyo update for their Epic 4G would be rolling out at 9pm PST. Epic 4G owners can expect a vast amount of enhancements over Android 2.1 Eclair.

  • Ability to install applications to external storage
  • Improved Bluetooth device support
  • Bluetooth Voice Dialing
  • Flash Player 10.1
  • GPS Enhancements
  • Improved OS performance
  • Email PIN based authentication
  • User friendly tethering for 3G and 4G
