Samsung Epic 4G Shooting for an August 11th Launch?

Sprint has been prepping themselves for the launch of their 2nd 4G device and Galaxy S variant, the Samsung Epic 4G. According to one of BGR’s Sprint sources, Sprint stores are to open at 8 a.m. on August 11th. Could Sprint be dropping the Epic 4G then? According to their source, it will be. August 11th is the day before the launch of the Motorola Droid 2, as well as the Blackberry Torch 9800. All three of these devices are coming with a slide-out full-QWERTY keyboard, so signs are looking toward Sprint coming out first hoping to sway hard-keyboard customers. The Samsung Epic is Sprint’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S that stands out among the rest with its full-QWERTY keyboard and front-facing camera.
