Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Sprint starts pre-ordering, shipping April 22nd

Just last week we showed you guys the overview preview of the Galaxy Nexus for Sprint. We then started a poll to find out how many people were more interested in the GNex over the HTC EVO 4G LTE. We fully expected the EVO 4G LTE to be the dominate choice out the two devices. While the poll results only had 99 participants, the Gnex is in the lead with 53% of the votes. Putting 52 votes to the Gnex over 47 votes for the EVO 4G LTE. For those 52 of you that were stoked to snag the Gnx on Sprints network, your wait is almost over.

Sprint has recently started taking pre-orders the device with expected shipping day being April 22nd. The best part, they are offing the device for $199.99 on a new two-year contract. That is a whole $100 less than Verizon is selling it for. Of course you won’t have the 4G LTE coverage that Verizon has, but if you are a Sprint customer and could care less about data speeds, you have a pretty great deal available. As an added bonus, Google and Sprint are offering a$50 worth of Google Wallet credit to anyone who picks up the device before May 22nd. It’s almost like getting the GNex for $149.

I am sure this price will be beat by Amazon and Wirefly shortly, so keep an eye peeled here for future sales.
