Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Active with 4,100mAh battery could be on the cards

It’s not an unfamiliar sight to see a Samsung Galaxy S device ruggedized into an Active device, however the treatment has been absent from the Galaxy Note family of devices over the years. That might be able to change, however, as rumours of an Active version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 have started to circulate. A device that would presumably be called the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Active would also feature a 4,100mAh battery, a huge boost over the middling 3,000mAh battery that comes in the Note 5 vanilla.

The report continues, saying that the Note 5 Active would have IP68 certification and will be released on November 8th, though no information about pricing or availability has been suggested. If we had to guess what hardware the Note 5 Active would have, we’d assume it would be the same hardware as the Note 5 – the Galaxy S6 Active was a big surprise as it was literally a beefier version of the standard Galaxy S6, something of a change from previous years, and we’d assume a Note 5 Active would get the same treatment.
