Samsung Galaxy S III gets video leak from Vietnam in all its quad-core Glory

Well, apparently a video has been posted to a Vietnamese website showing off the Samsung Galaxy S III. Labeled as Model Number GT I-9300. It is a prototype testing model and Samsung is known to use common cases for prototype hardware. The actual look of the device will have most likely been altered before the May 3rd announcement. The video shows off the basics that we have all already pretty much known. Quad-core processor at 1.4GHz, Mali 400 GPU, 1GB RAM, a screen resolution of 720p at 1184×720 (which is 1280x 720 if you factor in the ICS touch keys at the bottom) and looks to be around 4.6-inches, an 8MP camera with LED flash, NFC and a 2050mAh battery. You can see the oh so wonderful TouchWiz UI on the main screen, but that can easily be fixed with Nova or Apex. While all that info is fine well and good, the few things I noticed, and I pray to god they kept, is a removable battery and SD card support. Take a quick watch of the video and see what you think so far.

The only thing left to really see in action is the final production version. I know Samsung has every intention of making it as sexy as possible. I for one will definitely be picking this up on launch day, even if the quad-core doesn’t make it states side. The removable battery and SD card the biggest win in my opinion. Now we just need to wait and see what happens in May.

What do you guys think? Is this going to dominate the Android scene like all the previous Galaxy devices, or is HTC gonna give them a run for their money this year?
