Samsung Reaches 63.8 Million Devices Sold In Q2

Samsung is going to have a huge year. Samsung Hub is reporting that Samsung has shipped over 63.8 million handsets around world in Q2. Unfortunately, the only breakdown from that number we have is that 19 million of those devices were touchscreen devices, so we do not know how many are running the Android OS. Along with the Android OS, Samsung ships devices running the Bada OS, along with their own proprietary operating system.

The Samsung Galaxy S device is definitely Samsung’s pride and joy and with selling over 300k devices in the first couple of weeks in their home country of Korea, these devices are sure to put up some record breaking numbers for Q3.
