Scoreloop has been around on Android for about as long as I can remember, but despite the coolness it brought, the platform never seemed to evolve in any great way. Well last week that changed in a big way with the release of Scoreloops 2.0 SDK.

The new SDK brings a whole slew of new social features as well as ways for developers to keep in touch with their users and promote their other apps. All these new features put Scoreloop ahead of the game on Android and it must make them an attractive network to go with for the developers out there. With all these neat social SDKs available, it’s hard to understand why anyone wouldn’t include a free platform such as this in their games.

The full November 19th’s press release follows, along with a PDF file listing the system’s features.
